Getaways in this wilderness wonderland must be defined by each individual. To some it is exploring old goldmines or simply hiking in the Rocky Mountains. A day in the sun will qualify, while others prefer the challenge of catching that once in a lifetime trophy fish.

Discover all there is to enjoy in the Gunnison area.. Find the elements of surprise by watching a bear roam through berry bushes, witness big horn sheep, elk, mule deer, and antelope grazing in the meadows. Have your spirits lifted by the sight of a magnificent bald eagle as he swoops in for a fish.

golfGolf Anyone?  The Dos Rios Golf Course is right out your front door.  "Two Rivers" is a fitting name since this par-71, 6,566-yard course has water on 17 holes.  The golf course is set in the valley of the Gunnison River Basin and gets it's name because of the Gunnison River splitting in the area.  This course incorporates the natural landscape and intertwines with the tree-lined Gunnison River.

rocksMountain Biking and Hiking Adventures - The Hartman Rocks, visible from the Lodge, provides a high-desert (8,000ft above sea level) riding/hiking adventure over a 6,000 acre basin.
